Jeffrey Cornia creates portraits using acrylics and oil pastels on canvas. Embracing the axiom "The face is the index of the mind," the artist captures the facial features and personalities of his subjects using vibrant colors and dramatic composition.

Jeffrey began painting approximately twelve years ago when his wife had a prophetic dream that he was an artist.  Prior to that time, he managed vegetarian restaurants, worked in sales, traveled extensively, earned a BA in psychology, and worked for many years in the field of drug and alcohol recovery.
